LaMar Ainjel Women’s Snowboard Review

This snowboard doesn’t try to be anything that it isn’t: a beginner freestyle board. Even in the specs presented by the company, it’s stated that this is definitely for beginning-to-intermediate level snowboarders.

The first thing you notice about the Ainjel is the beautiful artwork. Sadly, even though this is a pretty decent board, the art is the best thing about it.

As far as performance goes, while this snowboard has great flexibility and forgiveness, and while its ETF tech allows for great stress distribution, you’ll probably want to look at the Burton Feather snowboard first. That one may be more expensive than the LaMar Ainjel, but it will help you grow much faster and much, much farther.

But Burton is for people who have loads of money to spend. If you only have a handful of change, definitely keep the Ainjel in mind. It has great durability, a smooth performance, and comes with an assortment of featured goodies, like:

LaMar Mission Men’s Snowboard Review

This is designed to be a park-oriented snowboard. Does it succeed? In a way, yes. If you’re still trying to gain your feet on a snowboard and learning little tricks here and there, then absolutely, the Mission is the way to go. This is a super forgiving board that will help you find your way.

But it won’t take you much farther than that.

It takes more than the Mission’s free ride shape and pretty snappy tail for a snowboard to perform optimally in the pipes and on the rails. You can definitely catch some air with the Mission, and even nail a pretty gnarly Ollie or two, but you won’t find yourself spinning too heavily or doing much fancy grabbing with it. It’s just not advanced enough.

But there are some great features associated with the LaMar Mission, including:

Like most of LaMar’s other boards, this is definitely one that will work for you if you’re new to the sport–but if you’re looking to advance your abilities to the max, you’ll very quickly outgrow the Mission snowboard.

LaMar is a company masterminded by one of the all-time great snowboarders, but that doesn’t mean it makes all-time great products.
