Like all of MSR’s stove models available, the WindPro is an incredibly lightweight device that’s easy to lug around. In fact, lug might be the wrong word, because you probably won’t even notice the weight as you cruise around the trails.

Unlike other stoves that use white gas along with several other types of fuel, the WindPro uses just a propane canister, so it’s really easy to keep clean. Without the mess that other types of fuel leave behind, the WindPro is one of the simpler stove models in the catalogue.

Even though it’s so compact and portable, the WindPro still offers a few special features that other simple stoves don’t. For instance, the flame on the WindPro is adjustable, so you don’t have to try to cook everything in your meal at the exact same temperature.

All shoes gets stinky after awhile–sandals more so than others–but with these ones, all you have to do is toss them in the wash with a mild detergent and let them air dry. Then they’re as good as new.

Our favorite part though–toe protection! The rubber cage protecting your toes makes it so you will NEVER stub your toe ever again! Totally awesome for hikers.

Keen Newport Sandal Disadvantages

They may be easy to clean, but you’ll probably find yourself needing to de-odorize these sandals more than any of your previous pairs. Because of their shoe-sandal hybrid design, the Newports are capable of getting pretty warm, making you sweat more and more, and leading to rather unpleasant aromas.

Perhaps the biggest drawback of the Keen Newport sandals is in their design. There have been a number of reports complaining that stitching comes unraveled and soles come unglued.

This is by no means a universal problem (we own a few pairs and not one has had this happen to it), but it’s a widespread enough complaint that it certainly deserves your attention.

The Coleman Camp Oven has a million and one advantages and talents–it’s truly a must-have for all family car camping trips.

To get a bit more specific, though, one of the greatest things about this model is its portability. When in use, the Camp Oven is a big square, 1 foot on each side. But it folds down to the size of a 12-inch pizza box, making it easy to hide in any nook or cranny of your vehicle storage area. And at only 7 pounds, this is can also be easily hiked into a location–provided it isn’t a very long hike.

Another great thing about this cooker is its ability to cook evenly. This isn’t to say that the temperature remains terribly constant (see the next section for more on this), but what you put inside of the oven will be cooked or baked equally on all sides.

Coleman Camp Oven Disadvantages

The temperature control is a bit wonky. It’s a tad difficult to keep the Coleman Camp Oven at a specific temperature for very long–it tends to slide a little in one direction or the other. This isn’t as terrible as it may sound–it won’t turn into an ice box or a nuclear reactor or anything like that–but it’s certainly worth noting. Just bear in mind that simple dishes will be an absolute breeze, while more gourmet-style meals may be a bit frustrating.

For less than $50, you really are getting a fantastic deal, but the truth is that this product just isn’t as high quality as something that costs $100 or $200.
